🌟 Celebrating coastal champions 🌟
Our coast and community are cared for by some truly incredible people. Volunteers give their time, skills and passion to protect our precious coastal environment, share knowledge with the community, and educate and engage our communities to help keep our waters safe.
Over the next few months, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the amazing volunteer groups working with Barwon Coast – posting a new group every two weeks. From weeding and planting, to surf clubs, coastal education and environmental monitoring, these coastal champions are making a real difference.
If you’d like to be part of their story, reach out to your local group – they’d love to hear from you! 💙 Visit barwoncoast.com.au/volunteer for more information.

Our annual Winter film night proved to be an amazing event!

An eye-opening movie followed by two wonderful informative guest speakers providing us with some hope for the future!

An interesting taste test courtesy of Ty Simons of The Driftwood Cafe drew mixed but mostly favourable responses.

Thank you to Margot and the committee and our speakers, Rick Verkooijen and Kaylah Gawne.

Were pleased to report that we raised over $400 for the Great Southern Reef Foundation !!
